This month members of Dance Makers Collective have been taking a look at dance through the camera lens. The result is webisodes, a series of one-minute videos posted online. Choreographed to an eclectic soundscape, composed by Timonthy Constable, Webisodes is intended to bring dance to your desktop in strange and surprising ways. In each webisode, a dancer explores a unique environment with a peculiar object used as a costume. It’s a concept that was conceived by Marnie Palomares.
Throughout January, Dance Makers Collective have been posting one episode every three days. Once episodes are live they are available to view on DMC’s website: www.dancemakerscollective.com.au
To see the webisodes as they are launched, follow DMC on Facebook.
