The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) will present its graduating students at the end of this month.
The annual "Circus Showcase" season at is a rare opportunity for the public to catch its first glimpse of the circus stars of tomorrow. In their final performance as students, NICA’s graduating artists fuse beauty, power and risk into a provocative performance of awe and delight.
Directed by Megan Jones (Coda, Ariel’s Dream, "2009 Circus Showcase"), "Circus Showcase 2011" is a highly entertaining blend of solo and duo acts by the country’s finest up-and-coming circus stars, ranging from the exquisitely beautiful and poignant to the explosive, heart-stopping and hilarious.
