The Australian Ballet is about to bring Sir Peter Wright’s The Nutcracker to the Sydney Opera House.
“We can’t wait to bring the magical production of The Nutcracker back to our Sydney home,” says artistic director of the Australian Ballet, David McAllister. “This theatrical spectacular is packed with exquisite costumes and sets, enchanting music, dazzling choreography and of course, our world-class dancers. It is the perfect entrée for families who have never tried ballet before.”
Instagram and Facebook audiences will see the Nutcracker doll pop up in their favourite bars, restaurants and shops in the coming weeks. Ballet fans can follow his journey at #Nutcrackerhunt.
The Nutcracker will play the Sydney Opera House, 28 November to 17 December.
