If so, you need to know about Short+Sweet Dance Sydney, a platform for emerging and professional choreographers to develop and showcase their work in a supportive environment. Applications are now open for the 2014 season of Short+Sweet Dance Sydney.
Short+Sweet Dance Sydney is part of a series of short theatre festivals that began running in Sydney 12 years ago. The Short+Sweet Dance festival takes place in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as youth version Fast+Fresh Dance. This year Short+Sweet Dance Sydney will partner a new festival, Short+Sweet Cabaret.
Short+Sweet Dance Sydney covers a broad range of genres. New features of the 2014 include a mentoring program, a “wildcards” series, a new awards structure and dance on film.
