The international dance phenomenon Burn the Floor has returned to the Sydney Opera House with an electrifying new show, BALLROOM RE-INVENTED – and due to demand, the season has now been extended to 17 August.
Presented by Dance Partner Productions, Burn the Floor is renowned for revolutionising the traditional ballroom format with its high-voltage choreography, dynamic staging and powerhouse performances. This latest production brings a fresh edge to classic Latin and ballroom styles, fusing the elegance of the Waltz, the intensity of the Tango, and the pulsing heat of the Cha Cha and Samba.
Joining the cast for this run is the extraordinary Prinnie Stevens, whose soulful vocals will add another layer of passion and power to the performance. A celebrated singer and musical theatre star, Stevens is one of Australia’s most sought-after talents and brings her unmistakable voice to this fiery production.
From Broadway to the West End, Burn the Floor has won audiences around the world, with Sydney next in line for the thrill.
