Applications are now open for Expressions Dance Company’s (EDC) Summer Brisbane Contemporary Dance Intensive (BCDI), to be held 12-16 and 19-23 January 2015.

The two-week course is staffed by EDC dancers and guest teachers.  Students will develop their creative, technical and performance skills.  Students may participate in either one or both weeks.

Summer BCDI is divided into two programs:

Aspire is a pre-tertiary training program for 13-17 year olds and is designed to give greater confidence and an edge for auditions, ideal for dancers preparing for tertiary training.

Momentum, EDC’s tertiary program is designed for emerging dancers aged 17 and above creating pathways into the dance industry and focusing on developing a unique style as an artist.

Spaces are limited to 15 participants per program and entry is by application only.
