The Bolshoi Ballet’s 2014-2015 cinema season kicks of this weekend with Yuri Grigorovich’s The Legend of Love, captured live in HD from Moscow. Grigorovich’s Nutcracker will follow in February, then Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake in March and finally Ivan the Terrible, also by Grigorovich, in June.
This is the company’s fifth cinema season. It will include performances from Bolshoi principals such as David Hallberg and Olga Smirnova. Screenings will take place around Australia – click here for participating cinemas.
