The Australian dance industry’s night of nights, the Australian Dance Awards (ADAs), is happening at the Sydney Opera House, Sunday 9 November.

A gala presentation showcasing the depth and creativity of the Australian dance sector, tickets to the awards night are available to the general public.

Hosted by Kip Gamblin and Frances Rings, the program will feature performances by the Australian Ballet, Sydney Dance Company, NAISDA Dance College, Team 9Lives  and LOcREaDO Dance Company, alongside dancers Ghenoa  Gela, Kristina Chan, David Capra and Andy Dexterity.  In addition, three Sydney dance schools – Ev and Bow, Brent Street and the Village Performing Arts will come together with choreographer Stephen Tannos to perform the grand-finale.

Awards will be presented in 11 categories, recognizing and honouring dance artists, educators and administrators.
