Audition for the BOLSHOI BALLET ACADEMY SUMMER INTENSIVE!

 

The Russian Ballet International and Waverley Council in Sydney are collaborating to bring the Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive to Bondi Beach.

 

The workshop will take place from January 2-13, 2018, at the beautiful seaside studios in the Bondi Pavilion, hosted by the Council for this special workshop. A spectacular setting for intensive dancing, the students will be able to spill out onto the shores of Bondi Beach.

For the first time, the dancers in Sydney will work with current Bolshoi master teachers and faculty from the Academy in Moscow. The classes will include ballet technique, pointe, variations and character. This rare opportunity will bring today's unique Russian training in the cultural tradition of classical ballet to Bondi.

 

The Bolshoi needs no introduction to dance students! This collaboration will reconnect today's dancers with that historic institution and training. 

 

The classes come in two sizes:

 

Summer Intensive Progrm

Ages 12 to 25

AUDITION: October 14, 12 noon to 1.30pm

Young Dancer Program

Ages 8 to 13

NO AUDITION REQUIRED, PLACEMENT CLASS

October 14, 2.30 to 3.30
