If you’re a young dancer living in Melbourne, you may be interested in auditioning for Yellow Wheel, a dance company for young people.
Yellow Wheel is a collection of young dancers, all of whom are determined to pursue a career in dance. Yellow Wheel dancers come from a vast range of schools, universities and institutions all with the common goal of being part of a collaborative, creative process with an emphasis on producing high-grade dance works. Dancers who are a part of Yellow Wheel become part of an ensemble for the whole year, rehearsing on Tuesday nights and most Sundays and working on a number of key projects and training opportunities.
The audition for the company will be three hours and include contemporary technique class, followed by some improvisational and choreographic tasks. Applicant scan choose between two auditions times:
Sunday January 21st - 10am to 1pm
or
Tuesday February 2nd - 6:30pm to 9:30pm,
