Metro Arts (Brisbane) and Lisa Wilson Projects have announced a new opportunity for graduate and emerging dancers. Elevate is a seven-week, intensive pre-professional program that closely replicates the range of activities experienced in a small contemporary dance company whilst adding the necessary skills development and teaching mentorship to develop a sustainable career as an artist. During the intensive, three new works will be commissioned, one by Prying Eye, one by emerging artist Sammie Williams and one by Craig Bary.

Elevate is open to dance graduates within the first three years of completing degree, or any emerging artists/pre-professionals from alternative training institutions. Applicants must be aged 26 or under.
