Impulstanz, the Vienna International Dance Festival in Austria, is calling for applications for its 2024 training and education program.

Dancers are invited to apply for two programs: danceWEB or ATLAS (both of which run from July 10 to August 14).

danceWEB is a five-week program for emerging dancers and choreographers which offers workshop and research projects. In 2024 participants will receive artistic support from visual artist Isabel Lewis, who works in the fields of dance, music and theatre.

ATLAS (subtitled “create your dance trails”) is a training program for artists with first choreographic experiences and those mid-career. It provides studio space as well as individual training programs. The 2024 ATLAS will be mentored by performer, singer and dramaturge Angélique Willkie on the one hand and choreographer, director and dancer Marco Berrettini on the other.

In addition, participants benefit from mixing with more than 100 choreographers, performers and teachers from the 40 or so countries who take part in this annual contemporary dance feast.

Applications close December 15.
