Australia Dance Theatre is on the search for talented male & female dancers aged 14 - 20 to join the 2017 intake of the ADT Youth Ensemble.

Participation in the Youth Ensemble provides essential experience to aspiring professional dancers, with performance opportunities at upcoming Festivals and events.

Previous events have included the Australian Dance Awards, ADT's "Ignition" season, Adelaide Fringe Festival Parade and more. 

2017 has a line up of performance opportunities with some of Australia's leading choreographers. These valuable opportunties form the basis for quality CV material and references, ready for tiertary study and job prospects. 

AUDITION DETAILS

Date: Monday 30 January 4.30- 6.300 pm

Location: Australian Dance Theatre, 126 Belair Road, Hawthorn, South Australia

To audition, applicants must: Be aged between 14-20 years old; perform at an intermediate/advanced level in contemporary dance; be athletic, resilient, quick thinking, and passionate about dance & movement research. 

Successful applicants will be required to participate rehearsals on Wednesdays (4.30 – 7.00pm) at Australian Dance Theatre’s studios. The cost of participation in the Youth Ensemble is $230 per term (class fees) plus additional costs (tba) for travel & costumes for performances.

Applicants under the age of 18 must have parent or guardian permission to participate in the audition.
