ADT is all set to present G at venues in NSW, ACT and WA over the next couple of months. G, which has already enjoyed a critically acclaimed tour of Europe, is based on the great Romantic ballet Giselle. This deconstruction of a classic sees the technical prowess of ballet fused with Stewart’s trademark explosive athleticism. Eleven dancers tell a story of a lovelorn young girl who joins the spirit world to dance out her grief, accompanied by an electronic score by Luke Smiles and a hovering panorama of LED screens.
The tour kicks off in Sydney in mid-May and will take in Canberra and Perth as well as Gosford, Wollongong, Albury and Wagga Wagga in NSW, and Bunbury and Mandurah in WA. See listing below for details of dates and venues.
