Australian Dance Theatre is holding two open auditions THIS WEEK, looking for two female dancers to join its professional ensemble, specifically for Proximity.
The successful applicants will receive a one year contract, which means they will be performing in ADT’s 50th anniversary year.
This is an opportunity to join an elite team of professional dancers representing a world-class company led by Artistic Director Garry Stewart. Australian Dance Theatre has earned an international reputation and spends up to three months touring each year.
Criteria • Full-time contracts of one-year duration are available for female dancers • Applicants must hold either an Australian or New Zealand citizenship or a valid visa to work as a dancer in Australia • Essential attributes include: highly proficient in contemporary dance, athletic, resilient, quick thinking, and passionate about dance and movement research. • Dancers who have auditioned for the company in the past are encouraged to re-audition • Though this is an open audition you must register: please email your contact details to adt@adt.org.au • Audition at own expense
