Emerging Female Classical Choreographer

Calling All Female Classical Choreographers!

In 2018, The Australian Ballet appointed Alice Topp as a resident choreographer. In 2019, the company, in partnership with Dance Australia and the Sydney Opera House, will take the next steps towards discovering and nurturing female talent, starting with an important initiative for up-and-coming classical dancemakers.

The Australian Ballet and Sydney Opera House have joined forces with Dance Australia to offer a thrilling opportunity for an emerging female choreographer. If you’re a classically trained dancer/choreographer and would like to see your work showcased by The Australian Ballet, this could be you.
