What is your best memory of your full-time dance studies?

For me personally, full-time study allows me to immerse myself in the world of dance. It is difficult to focus on one thing, but VCA provides me with a good teaching environment and a good team of teachers.

In the two years here, I have strengthened my artistic thinking, which often brings me some dance inspiration. Here, I have met many like-minded friends, we discuss dance, encourage and support each other, and make progress together. On this platform, I have the opportunity to show my talent to more people and get valuable feedback, which makes me very excited. This experience makes me love dance more, and I will continue to improve myself on the road of dance in the future.

What advice would you give to someone considering pursuing full-time dance studies at the school you attended? What are the key things they should know or prepare for?

I do have some insights of my own. My advice is that if you want to improve your dance skills and develop a deeper dance mindset, the essential part is to listen carefully to what your teacher says. When you encounter a problem and feel that you can't break through it no matter what, you might as well ask your teacher if they have any suggestions. The teachers will do their best to enlighten you.

In addition, while the teacher leads the way, practice is up to the individual. Besides external guidance, internal digestion is very important. I hope that everyone on the road of dance will experience what I am saying. Spending more time to feel, understand, and finally master dance knowledge is a happiness process.
