OPEN AUDITIONS: Junior 8-12yrs Ensemble and Senior 13-18yrs Ensemble
Avant Garde Broadway Youth Dance Company
A brand new Youth Dance Company, located in Sydney’s South West, is being launched in only a few short weeks. With limited performance opportunities for Musical Theatre and Broadway style trained young dancers, the founders decided it was time to create a platform allowing performers a chance to extend their training and experience, in preparation for the next step in their careers. Initial Auditions were held in November 2019, with a great response from talented young dancers, confirming that the 2020 Season would definitely proceed as planned. A second round of Open Auditions will be held on 25th January for anyone who missed out on attending the first round. Seeking great all-round, versatile performers, with experience in Jazz Dance, Tap Dance, Heels, Singing, Acting or any combination of these skills. Ballet training is highly prized as a foundation to all dance technique. Performers will experience an incredible variety of styles under the guidance of innovative, creative, brilliant and highly skilled creators, giving them the building blocks for a bright and successful future, leading to professional careers in the Musical Theatre industry.
