WIN a chance to go to Europe to dance
1. Summer Intensive to the Ballettschule Basel in Switzerland (Ages 14 -16) or
2. Two-Week Scholarship to the Hungarian Dance Academy in Budapest (Ages 17 – 20)
What a fabulous opportunity - Two talented WA dancers will be given a once in a lifetime opportunity to dance with some of the most established and prestigious ballet schools in the world…
To be eligible for this competition you must simply purchases 2 x Adult Tickets or 1 x Adult and 2 x Children Tickets to the International Youth Ballet Gala. Interested dancers who have purchased tickets must register, before August 1st , with their receipt number to competition@youthballetwa.org.au
Open audition will be held to all students aged 14 to 20 years old. Sunday August 11th
The adjudicative panel will consist of: Slava Tutukin Deputy Artistic Director of Theater Dortmund, Terri Charlesworth OAM, Leanne Stojmenov former Principal of The Australian Ballet, Professor Yury Vasilkov from St. Petersburg, and Aymeric Aude dancer with Introdans.
*Tickets must be purchased via Ticketmaster before Thursday 1st August at 18:00 WAST* You will be notified for the audition on Saturday 3rd of August via email.
