Sydney Eisteddfod Ballet Scholarship & Jazz Dance Group Finals

With eight of this year’s most promising ballet students and top Jazz Dance troupes, this event will showcase the very best of emerging dancers from across Australia and New Zealand.

After being selected as finalists in the Sydney Eisteddfod Ballet Scholarship, eight soloists (aged 16-20) will take to the stage in the hope of winning this life-changing scholarship that will help them achieve their dreams. This prestigious scholarship has been shooting stars into leading ballet companies worldwide for decades; The Australian Ballet’s Leanne Stojmenov and Adam Bull and The Royal Ballet’s Steven McRae and Alexander Campbell are amongst them. This scholarship is widely regarded as the most valuable award in the southern hemisphere, with a prize value of over $36,000.
