danceaustralia.com.au is targeted to students, amateur and professional dancers, dance teachers, dance schools and companies and all lovers of dance.

From our experience with printed magazines, we know what readers want. They want to be kept abreast of all the important moves, events and people in the dance world. Who is creating the most exciting work? What are the dance companies offering? Who is winning competitions? They want to read about the leading dancers. They want to learn how to improve their technique. They want to go back stage and meet the crew, and feel the costumes. This new site will give you all of this, more often.

HOMEPAGE
The homepage contains image and pointers to all the main sections of the site – Auditions, Artists, Reviews, Schools Directory, Class, etc. As the entry point to the site, this page carries the most traffic.

AUDITIONS
A handy listing of all the upcoming auditions. This essential resource will cover school auditions as well as company and production auditions.

REVIEWS
Certain to be a high traffic area. Reviews will be posted by the Dance Australia team and visitors can also have the chance to share their opinions about works seen. There will be video footage of the performance and a star rating system for viewer voting. It will be a highly interactive section of the site.

COMPETITIONS
This section of the site will be one of the most active. There are competitions on nominated themes, e.g., Best Dance Duo photograph and will include video, dance bloopers, best close space photos, best costumes. Sponsorships of competitions are available.

SCHOOLS
A complete directory of dance schools around the country. Plus schools can promote themselves with an enhanced listing, including video, all course details plus images, available for $350 + gst for 12 months. Contact carolroselli@yaffa.com.au

NEWS/ PRODUCTS
A dedicated news section, including the latest performances and events, appointments, competition results both in Australia and globally, and product releases. Items from the weekly email newsletter can be seen here, and previous news stories can be searched.

ARTISTS
A showcase of dancer profiles with stunning photographs.

CLASS
A collection of the best Dance Australia articles for teachers and students, accessible to subscribers only.

EMAIL NEWSLETTER
The Dance Australia newsletter is sent out weekly on Wednesdays to dance enthusiasts, suppliers, schools and students. It is promoted regularly through the magazine.

• Maximum file size 39K.
• Include click-through URL.
• Files can be Flash (swf files), static GIFs
or animated GIFs.
• Flash files should be in Flash 7 format.
• If supplying Flash files a backup GIF must
also be supplied.
• The website will target browsers that work with
the ad through our ad server - unsupported browsers
will be served the alternative GIF file supplied.
• Animation must not contain strobing effects.
• Looping should be continuous.
• The creative should not disable fields or functionality
of the site.
• The creative should not disable browser back buttons
or force any plugins to be downloaded.
• Material deadline 5 days prior.
